Logo Design For A Software Start-Up
Eldersoft

Eldersoft are a Hertfordshire based start-up, providing software to the education sector.
The Project
Eldersoft approached AllDesignOnline in the early stages of their launch to discuss the creation of a brand logo/colour scheme that would resonate with their core audience of schools, colleges, and educational institutions. As a start-up focused on delivering intuitive and reliable software for education, they required a logo that felt modern and dynamic, while remaining approachable and professional.
During our initial discussions, it was established that Eldersoft were looking for a clean feel, but also a visual identity that reflected growth, innovation, and trust. We discussed themes of digital transformation in education and the need to stand apart in a crowded tech-driven marketplace without resorting to overly generic educational imagery.
Several logo concepts were developed, with an emphasis on bold typefaces and organic elements. The final design, a stylised “E” enclosed in a rounded square was chosen as it depicts both structure and flexibility. A sweeping set of layered green and dark blue curves cuts through the ‘E’, suggesting upward momentum, connectivity, and the natural flow of learning plus also a suggestion of ideas, guidance and progress.
The full company name was customised to match the rounded edges of the icon. The “O” in “Eldersoft” features a green central dot, which gives a visual link back to the curves within the emblem and adding a contemporary feel. Colour choices were carefully considered – a spectrum of fresh greens signals growth, vitality and clarity, while the deep navy anchors the brand in professionalism and dependability.
The Eldersoft logo now forms the foundation of their wider brand identity and will soon be used across all of their marketing.
