This can feel daunting and a big challenge, whether you have cognitive or physical problems.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"image-curved-top-right-bottom-left-float-right alignright wp-image-311\" src=\"https:\/\/www.alldesignonline.com\/neurorehabworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/vocational-rehabilitation-01.webp\" alt=\"\" width=\"457\" height=\"685\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.alldesignonline.com\/neurorehabworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/vocational-rehabilitation-01.webp 683w, https:\/\/www.alldesignonline.com\/neurorehabworks\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/vocational-rehabilitation-01-200x300.webp 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 457px) 100vw, 457px\" \/>Evidence shows that people who have brain injury benefit from\u00a0<em>specialist<\/em>\u00a0\u2018vocational rehabilitation\u2019 just as they benefit from<em>\u00a0specialist<\/em>\u00a0\u2018neuro-rehab\u2019. This means working with therapists who\u00a0<em>understand neurological conditions<\/em>\u00a0first and foremost but have the added experience of how this fits into the work environment and the legislation\/resources around it.<\/p>\n<p>We can work with you to understand how a return to work plan may fit within your overall rehabilitation programme. We may involve you, your employer, and the wider rehabilitation team to help transition learned skills and strategies from home into the workplace when the time is right. We think that this should be seamless \u2013 no need to start from scratch when you start vocational rehabilitation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you are returning to an existing job, we will complete work site assessments and design a bespoke return to work programme that matches where you are in your rehabilitation journey.<\/li>\n<li>If you don\u2019t have a job yet, we can give advice about what is realistic and achievable, and help you find options for work that match your capabilities and interests.<\/li>\n<li>We also support young people return to education \u2013 whether the same course or a different one. We are experienced in navigating college and university systems and resources to ensure the most appropriate support is available.<\/li>\n<li>When it may not be possible to return to paid work, we can help you to engage in meaningful alternative roles.
